There is no hope for reconciliation with God without the forgiveness of sins. And that comes through believing in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. There is no other way.
When you perceive the world around you, whose lens are you looking through? God’s, the world’s, or your own?
You’ve heard it or said it before: “I’ll be happy when”…When…I get married. When I lose weight. When I win the lottery. When I have children, am debt free, and die and go to heaven. When this and when that…the list could go on forever!
OK, you’ve had your “come to Jesus” moment and the world slaps you in the face for it. You accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, are living your life for Him, and now the world hates you. Welcome to the real world. Let’s call this blog, “The Unhappy Christian.”
Children don’t expect you to let them down. They take you at your word and hold you accountable. So why do we assume God won’t keep His promise? Why do we allow doubt, fear, anxiety, and worry to rob us of our joy and faith in God?
