Family Dinner: February 13th – 19th

Open your Bibles to Matthew chapter 5 and read verses 43 thru 45 together.

God’s ways are different, They are opposite than the world’s ways. God’s kind of love is not common in our world today, especially not towards someone that isn’t kind or loving to us. However, God commands us to love our enemies. Jesus died for us, displaying His love for us on the cross even though we were still sinners and enemies towards God (Romans 5:8).

Discuss the following questions together:

1. Would you die for your enemy? Why, Why not?

2. Why is it so difficult to love our enemies? What does the Bible say about HOW we are to love our enemies? (Romans 12:20-21)

3. What else is in the Bible that God commands us to do that is opposite to the world’s ways?

Put it into practice! Join us for our Outreach Training on Wednesday, February 28th at 6:30pm in the Main Sanctuary.
