Now more than ever before, the enemy of our souls has targeted our youth.
He wants to lure them away into temptation and bondage through pornography, premarital sex, drugs, and alcohol.
However, you can help shield your teens from peer pressure and become another sad statistic.
We know that they can live a surrendered life for Jesus Christ uncompromised, unashamed and unafraid, but they can’t do it alone.
Here at Calvary Chapel South Bay, we know it’s not easy raising godly children in today’s fallen world, and we want to come alongside you as parents.
Our aim is to provide that helping hand through instruction, support, prayer, and the sound teaching of God’s Word.
The Surrendered Youth High School Ministry is the happening place to be here at CCSB!
The desire of the Surrendered Youth Ministry is to train up and encourage your 9th through 12th graders to live their lives completely devoted to God.
Your teens will find a safe, loving and fun environment to fit right into during all of our main service times.
Here they’ll be encouraged, strengthened, and equipped to face the many different challenges of the world around them with the biblical tools they need for success.
The High School Ministry is led by Intern Pastor Brandon Gill, along with a seasoned leadership team whose goal is to love on your kids, teach them God’s Word, and be those good role models the kids can trust and look up to.
At the High School Ministry, your teens will go deeper in their personal walks with Jesus Christ by discovering how they can:
- Study the Bible and apply it to their everyday lives
- Resist temptations and peer pressure through God’s strength
- Stay pure and wait for God’s perfect will in marriage
- Know God’s path for life after they graduate from high school
- Understand how the Bible is more than just an ordinary textbook
Your teens won’t want to miss out on all the fun we have every week in the High School Ministry, so be sure to check the church bulletin for upcoming events, or send us a message here for more details.
We hope to see you there!
