Lesson 13 - Christian Liberty

The movie, War Horse, depicted the life of a horse sold to the British cavalry during World War I. During this time, the horse was captured by the German army and was submitted to the hard labor of pulling wagons and equipment. Hungry and beaten, the horse eventually Broke free of his harsh masters only to wander the war - ravaged countryside and become entangled in barbed wire at the front lines. Thankfully, the horse was rescued by the British army and restored. This is very similar to what the Galatians had found themselves doing. They were under the harsh taskmaster (the Law), freed from that bondage, only to become entangled again in the Law. Thankfully Paul, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, recognized the bondage and began the process of freeing them from this life of following the Law.
