“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

Being a United States soldier in today’s fallen world can be extremely challenging and dangerous.

Now more than ever before, our soldiers need the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and the fervent prayers of the body of Christ.

Here at CCSB, we have a ministry that answers this calling to serve the men and women of our United States Armed Forces—Our Military Ministry!

Prayer List For Our Troops
Submit Prayer Request

Military Ministry’s goal is meet the needs of our U.S. Armed Forces through prayer, worship, hospitality, and the sharing of God’s Word.

We aim to encourage, strengthen, and help our troops mature spiritually by giving them a firm foundation of the Bible, and a little taste of home with fresh baked cookies.

These monthly outreaches of cookies, fellowship, and God’s Word remind our troops that we are thinking of them, keeping them in our prayers, and are here to support them as they lay down their lives in sacrifice for our country.

The Military Ministry is led by Intern Pastor and former U.S. Marine Dwight Dudley.

Every month a select team of volunteers bag up homemade cookies and drive down to Camp Pendleton Marine Base in San Diego, California to bless the troops stationed there.

Our goal is to make these soldiers feel loved, valued and appreciated by bringing a little taste of “home” their way every month – baskets and baskets of homemade cookies for them to enjoy.

The Bible says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” – James 5:16

One of the biggest ways you can bless our troops and impact this ministry is through prayer.

You can fervently pray for the Military Ministry, our troops, and their families.

Send Pastor Dwight a message for more information or if you’re interested in getting involved—H.U.R.A!
