Missions Ministry

One of the important areas of Missions is instructing each team member to share the Gospel and serve the people. Before each outreach and mission trip, all of our team members are trained and equipped through various workshops such as Culture Training, Simply Sharing the Gospel with Adults and Children, Ministering to those in Crisis, Servanthood 101, Sharing your Testimony and many others.

THE HUDDLE – MISSIONS PRAYER

The Huddle is a special time that we gather as a Missions Ministry to pray on a Wednesday evening. We will have an opportunity to intercede for unreached people groups. Mission teams and the Persecuted Church. Please sign up for text updates for dates and times.

SERVE

MISSIONS SUPPORT PROJECT

One of the greatest resources that the Lord has used to reach the world with the Gospel is people. God uses people to share the love of Christ all over the world. If you have a gift of rallying the church body and others to support missions through various fundraisers onsite and offsite , be involved in sending His people into our Backyard, Borders and Beyond.

MISSIONS HOSPITALITY TEAM

If you have the gift of hospitality and would like to use your gift to encourage the church body, this ministry is for you. This team will be involved with helping, coordinate hospitality for the Missions Fellowship, overseeing the Mission Fundraisers, organizing send-off meals before the mission trips and creating care packages for our CCSB short term missionaries.

GOD’S CREATIVE HANDS

If you have the skill of crocheting and would like to be used of the Lord, the Mission ministry definitely has a need for you. The Crochet team meets once a week to provide for the needs of the mission ministry.

SEND

MISSION FELLOWSHIPS

Mission Fellowships are an opportunity to be encouraged and meet other believers who have a heart for missions. We will hear testimonies from CCSB long term and short term missionaries.

MISSIONS FUNDRAISER

The Missions Fundraiser provides a great atmosphere for believers serving alongside each other. The vision is to inform and encourage believers to see the value of investing in Missions. We host a time of fellowship through mission ministry information tables, food stations, got Jesus and crochet ministry table.

MISSIONARY CARE

With missionaries all over the world, our desire is to encourage the missionaries as they are sharing Jesus abroad. We’ll be developing teams that minister to them through phone calls, emails and care packages.

MISSION JARS – YOUR CHANGE FOR WORLD MISSIONS

Get involved in the Great Commission and join us as we allow our change to make a difference in our world. The money you collect will enable CCSB missions to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Simply fill out the registration form at the Welcome Center to receive your mission jar and see the hand of God work in your life. Thank you for participating in the mission jars project and for supporting the Missions Ministry.

Come out and share God’s love by providing nourishing food, basic clothing items and other vital services to people in need. Join us in meeting the physical and more importantly, the spiritual needs of various homeless communities in the South Bay.
