The Missions Ministry has so many ways where you can get involved, whether you’re a new believer or you’ve been walking with the Lord a long time.

Our only requirement is that you are born-again of the Holy Spirit and comfortable with sharing your faith.

Make Memories That Further God’s Kingdom and Last a Lifetime!

Every year God opens some amazing doors for us to share the Gospel and share the love of Jesus Christ, not only in our own backyard but also across our borders and beyond.

Whether you’d like to come alongside the Missions Team across the street, across the California State line, or across the sea, we’ve got a mission’s trip just for you!

“Where God guides, God provides!” – Pastor Chuck Smith

As a CCSB Missionary for Jesus, be assured that if God is calling you to a particular mission, He will provide the money that you will need to pay your way.

Many people have held fundraisers, sent out sponsorship letters, and even paid out of pocket to cover the cost.

Prices range from $150.00 to anywhere around $3,000 depending on the length of the mission trip, the cost of food, lodging, and any airline fees.

The cost is all inclusive. So your food, transportation, and hotel costs will all be covered.

If you would like to purchase some keepsakes or special food or drink items on top of what is already provided, please bring some pocket money with you on the trip.

Your missions leader will give you more details on the “do’s and don’ts” and also a detailed packing list on what you are to bring with you.

Where God Leads—We Will Follow

Many of our backyard mission’s trips are shorter than the overseas trips ranging from single day trips to a 3-day weekend.

On our backyard trips, you can serve at local homeless communities, pass out Bible tracts and evangelize, partake in various community service type projects and everything in-between.

Some local cities we reach out to are:

  • San Pedro
  • Venice Beach
  • Santa Monica
  • The South Bay Cities
  • The Homeless Community on Skid Row
  • Watts
  • Los Angeles
God has also allowed us to preach His Word and serve others across our California borders as well. These trips last anywhere from a 3-day weekend to a couple of weeks long and we have been to:

  • Mexico
  • New York
  • Maine
  • Louisiana

Overseas Missions Trips truly are “once in a lifetime” experiences. They range anywhere from 1, 2 or 3 weeks in length, and include various missions work such as street evangelism, community service projects, construction projects, orphanage outreaches, Vocational Bible Schools for young children, plus much more.

We have been so blessed here at CCSB with past and future mission trips to countries such as:

  • El Salvador
  • Samoa & Amerika Samoa
  • Ireland
  • Peru
  • Philippines
  • Haiti
  • India
  • Uganda
  • Costa Rica

Want to Support Missions Without Physically Going On A Trip?

There are a couple of ways you can support the Mission’s Ministry without physically going on a missions trip.

  • Praying is a huge way you can come alongside those God has called on a given missions trip and the people they will be coming into contact there on the mission field. It’s the prayers of the saints that truly move the hand of God and transform lives.

For a detailed prayer list, please contact our pastor of the Missions Ministry.

  • Paying for a missionary to go on a missions trip through sponsorship, or by giving to the missions trip fund itself is another huge way you can get involved and bless the missions trip God has called us to. Many missionaries are in need of financial assistance, so perhaps God is calling you to give monetarily instead of going physically.

For more information about financially supporting the Missions Ministry or a specific missions trip, please contact our pastor of the Missions Ministry, Dennis Mascardo.
