Teacher: Pastor Chet Lowe

Main Scriptures: Romans 8, Exodus 14, Genesis 50

  • Romans 8:28 says that ALL things work together for good
    • This week at VBS, we looked at how nothing can separate us from the love of God through the lives of Moses, Joseph, Caleb, Jonah and Jesus
      • Moses learned that nothing is too wide
        • God did the impossible and made the sea dry ground for him
      • Joseph learned that nothing is too scary
        • God raised him up out of a broken home and injustice and used him to save his family
      • Caleb learned that nothing is too big
        • God helped him face the giants in his life with faith
      • Jonah learned that nothing is too deep
        • God helped him out of rock bottom and placed him where he needed to be to fulfill his purpose
      • Jesus demonstrated that nothing is too high
        • God came down to us through Jesus to live a perfect life and took our punishment for us on the cross. He rose again on the third day and made a way for us to get to heaven.

Selah: …Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39 NIV)
