  • The greatest commandment is loving the Lord wholeheartedly (Mark 12:29-31)
  • Caleb was wholly committed (Numbers 14)
    • He withheld nothing
      • He had a great example in Moses and sets a great example for us
  • To wholly follow the Lord
    • Begin with redemption (v. 6)
      • It doesn’t matter where we come from; it matters where we’re going
    • Gain God’s perspective (v. 7)
      • They believed God at His word
        • He cannot lie
    • Be willing to stand alone (v. 8)
      • This requires character and fortitude
    • Learn and live the Word (v. 9)
      • Caleb wasn’t wandering; he was waiting on God’s promises
        • It prevented him from bitterness
    • Fight the good fight of faith (v. 11)
      • You have not because you ask not (James 4: 2)
    • Depend on the power of the Spirit (v. 12)
      • We are more than conquerors because we walk by faith not sight (Romans 8)
    • Advance the Kingdom of God (v. 13)
      • Losing our life leads to finding it (Luke 9:23-24)
