QUICK OVERVIEW

  • Who is this ministry for? Prayer warriors
  • When do they meet? All three morning Sunday services
  • Where do they meet? Prayer Room

The Bible says in James 5:16 that, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”

Here at Calvary Chapel South Bay, we believe in the power of prayer.

We believe that God is a God of miracles and does answer the prayers of His children.

Do you have a heart to intercede through prayer for others?

Do you feel called to lay hands on those coming in for prayer after service and make their requests known to God?

Do you have a heart to encourage and pray for those who make a declaration of faith for either the first time or a rededication to the Lord?

Then we have the perfect ministry for you!

The Calvary Chapel South Bay Prayer Ministry is a place for believers in the body of Christ to use the spiritual gifts God has given them to pray for various needs during service times, and/or to pray for people who come in on Sundays for prayer or to accept the Lord in the Prayer Room.

There are many opportunities for you to be a part of this ministry:

  • You can be involved with one of the prayer meetings we have as a church and intercede for the body of Christ.
  • You can meet for prayer on Monday mornings at 6:00 a.m. in the Senior High Teen Center with fellow prayer warriors.
  • Or, you can come to the Prayer Room before and/or after service to pray for people who come in with various prayer requests.

Has God given you the special spiritual gift of intercessory prayer?

Then don’t hesitate to call or message the Prayer Room ministry leader Alex Hernandez for information on how you can get involved!

Please note, the ministry leader for Monday morning prayer at 6:00 a.m. is Lester Winge.
