Church family, I humbly ask you to pray for my daughter J, her husband J and their two boys N and E. J and J's marriage has been broken for many years. They ride an emotional rollercoaster as they brush the issues aside until another thing brings them to the forefront. J has some deep issues regarding things that happened during his childhood (father killed mother and grandmother and then himself) which led him to live with an abusive uncle. There are many instances of sin in his early adult years that he has not resolved as well. He is very insecure, controlling and is trying to keep his family isolated from other people. It is a terrible situation for the boys to live in. J is fed up but not really walking with the Lord. The world (money, etc.) has a hold on her. I've asked both of them to seek church counseling as money is an issue. Neither of them has done so. So, church, please pray for J that he can finally submit to God's Will and make Him first in his life. Pray for J for her to understand her role as wife and how she can be a partner in a very difficult and emotionally draining marriage. And lastly, please pray for N and E. N is 14 and easily manipulated by his dad. E is 11 and very emotional with frequent stomach aches. Lord, I know you are there. Thank you for your faithfulness.
