During the time of the prophet Isaiah, God had appointed certain men to stand watch on the walls surrounding Jerusalem.

These men, called watchmen, were in charge of protecting the city from the enemy’s wiles and attacks.

They stood guard during the day and at night to ensure God’s beloved people would be safe.

Do you feel called to do the same here at Calvary Chapel South Bay?

Do you have a heart to serve the Lord, protect your church, and make sure the enemy doesn’t attack God’s people or their property while they’re attending service?

Then we have the perfect ministry just for you!

The Security Ministry is CCSB’s modern day “watchman on the walls.” They are in charge of patrolling the parking lot around the church for safety and security purposes.

You don’t need to have a black belt in karate or have experience in Navy Seal combat fighting to qualify for service.

All that is required is to have a willing heart to serve the Lord and His people, to have spiritual discernment, and to have a devotional life.

The Security Ministry meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall (East Side). If you are interested in volunteering, please call (310) 352-3333.
